Dart Mechanic
It is a tool to fix mainly the shaft either to tighten the prongs or widen the slit of the prongs. This also serves to tighten or loosen the shaft from the barrel.

Shaft Washer
These are the rubber o-rings that tightly keep the metal to metal fit. Inherent in a metal-to-metal fit is it will loosen. The shaft washer inserted in an aluminum shaft will not loosen from the dart barrel.
